Cell Group
The ministry of DFC is built around Cell Groups — small gatherings where faith grows, friendships deepen, and every person is known and cared for.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
— Acts 2:42
What is a
Cell Group?
The ministry and activities of Doulos for Christ World Harvest are built around groups called Cell Groups — the basic foundation of church life. A cell group is a small gathering of people who, through friendship, meet together to live out the vision and values of the church.
The main purpose of the cell group is the personal growth of each member, centered on the Word of God. Members normally meet once a week to pray, worship, and learn together.
There are two kinds of cell groups: Open Cell, focused on evangelism and connecting people to God; and Leadership Cell, focused on growing existing cells and raising up new leaders through the G12 vision.
The Four Pillars of
Cell Group Life
Spiritual Growth
A space to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ — through the Word, prayer, and authentic spiritual accountability.
- Deepen your relationship with Christ
- Prioritize growth over gatherings
- Facilitate personal transformation
Community
Cells stay small so that genuine connection and intimacy can thrive. Real friendship and belonging happen in small groups.
- Small groups foster deep connection
- Reflects true family dynamics
- Care for one another daily
Evangelism
Cells reach beyond themselves, welcoming non-Christians in a safe, casual environment where the Good News is shared naturally.
- Welcome seekers and non-Christians
- Gather outside the church building
- Outreach thrives in community
Multiplication
Cells reproduce naturally — discipleship first, then training, then sending. Every leader raises up the next generation.
- Cells reproduce and form new groups
- Discipleship is the core priority
- Training equips every leader
Why Join a
Cell Group?
Over fifty times in the New Testament, the phrase "one another" describes our relationship to others. We are called to love, encourage, pray for, and build up one another. Cell groups are where that calling becomes real.
Join a Cell GroupBetter understand the Bible
Ask questions, hear others' insights, and receive inspiration you can apply to your own personal situation.
Feel part of God's family
The greatest benefit is the close relationships that develop over time. God never meant for us to walk through life alone.
Prayer becomes meaningful
In a small group you learn to pray by having a conversation with God — no pressure, just genuine communion.
Handle stress and pressure better
Cell groups provide excellent support in times of crisis — knowing people care and will stand with you makes all the difference.
Share Christ naturally
Friends who wouldn't step inside a church will accept an invitation to a casual Bible discussion in a home or café.
Develop leadership skills
As you share and participate, you discover your confidence and spiritual gifts — growing at work, church, and every relationship.
Deepen your worship
Worship happens anytime we focus on God — and it often happens best in a cell group while praying or singing together.
Become a New Testament Christian
Cell groups fulfill God's vision for His people — growing, multiplying, and meeting one another's needs through the G12 vision.
